History Guild
A unique membership arm of the Newport Historical Society, the History Guild, formerly the Women’s Guild, is a dynamic support and resource network for the Society.
Representing a wide range of professional and experiential backgrounds, Guild members provide leadership and support to Historical Society programs and fundraising activities. Through fellowship and educational programs, Guild members enhance their understanding of and appreciation for Newport’s rich historical legacy and help to advance the Society’s mission in the community.
For their unique commitment, the Historical Society offers special enrichment opportunities, including lectures, guided tours, visits to cultural institutions and docent seminars exclusively to Guild members.
