Lost & FOUND!
The Lost & Found project is a comprehensive, multi-year collections management project that will establish professional cataloging, storage plans and information management for all of the NHS collections. Currently project staff members are continuing to research the provenance of the objects in our collections and are organizing and documenting the hugely significant manuscript collection. Indexes to both collections are beginning to appear online. Future work will focus on the nearly 200,000 photographs held by the NHS, and on associating the library collection with the cataloging system at the Redwood Library.
During this process we are learning more about the things we have, and discovering that we have some spectacular objects and documents in our collections. We will post our discoveries periodically on the FOUND! page
